Passionate
about horses, Georgea had a promising polo career until an
accident to her left wrist curtailed her ambitions and she
turned her good hand to painting instead of riding.
Georgea's life size watercolours of horses' heads are
extraordinarily lifelike and set against a neutral background,
these beautiful commissions present very fine detail and
likeness and although classical in appearance, are also very
well suited to a more contemporary environment.
HOW THE
COMMISSION WILL PROGRESS.... Georgea would initially
have a phone conversation to establish your portrait ideas then
follow up with a personal visit to your home to meet the
intended subject and to discuss all the other important factors
such as where it will pose,
will it be on its own or with another subject, with or without
background. Where the portrait will be hanging is also
important, to help Georgea establish which colours to use for
any background.
Of course Georgea is happy to paint your subject in any
medium you prefer, with any other subjects or motifs
included. Landscapes with any particular landmarks or
favourite architecture can also be incorporated.
